Almost 3 years ago, we posted an article, out Captain Fixit's invention, the "docking assistant". This was our way of being sure to get back in our dock without mishap when it was windy(always) and no friends were at the dock. Recently, we received a press release from a company that is selling another landing solution.

Marinalife hosted a contest for members to vote on the Best Transient Marina and the marina with the Best Customer Service. Nantucket Boat Basin in Nantucket, Massachusetts was voted Best Transient Marina and Haven Harbour Marina in Rock Hall, Maryland, was voted for Best Customer Service.

We are so happy to hear that Abby Sunderland was found safe after losing communication with her parents and sounding her EPIRB alarms. She was in radio communication with an Australian jet, and a boat should reach her tomorrow.
