Alan Jackson’s gorgeous 1966 72′ yacht (Burger Boat Company) arrived in Clayton, NY in advance of the Antique Boat Show this weekend. The 35′ Prowler picnic boat, Catillac was shipped in for the event. Jackson also shipped 5 antique boats for the auction this weekend. It is rumored that Jackson might be coming to the Boat Show. Don’t forget to click on the photos to see the images in a larger size. And for those who are not country music fans, the video at the end will explain the name of Alan Jackson’s yacht.

I saw the Neon Rainbow in Virginia Beach at the First Landing State Park yesterday. Didn’t know it was his yacht until we started singing the song and then noticed the Nashville, TN on the back of the boat. Small World!!

I got a good look at the Neon Rainbow on Saturday evening, August 8th when it docked (about 6:30 pm), took on fuel, and spend the night, at the St. Johnsville Marina on the Erie Canal. Along with some others who came to gaze, I got in on some of the conversation with the boat’s crew (2 plus the Captain). Unfortunately Alan Jackson was not on board!

Just had dinner at Michael Anthony’s restaurant at Harborside Marina in Jersey City, NJ and was pleasantly surprised to see Neon Rainbow berthed there on the bulkhead. A rare example of a case where money does in fact translate to having exquisite taste. She’s a beauty Alan!
